Game is drawn to the river from the neighbouring hills and you can witness great sightings of wildlife on your Tanzania safari from your cottage. Ruaha River Lodge is a two and a half hour flight from Dar es Salaam, with a thirty minute drive from the airstrip. Ruaha River Lodge is the oldest lodge in the park.
