Ras Kutani Beach Lodge is set on a crescent of white sandy beach, flanked by a freshwater lagoon and a coastal forest, approximately 35km south of Dar es Salaam.
This Tanzania beach hotel is accessed from Dar es Salaam by 1.5 hours drive by road or it is a 10 minute flight by light aircraft from Dar es Salaam to Ras Kutani private airstrip. You are then transported by rowing boat across a lily covered lagoon to the lodge.
The lodge has the double luxury of being right next to a freshwater lagoon and literally a stone's throw from the warm Indian Ocean with a beautiful beach of soft white sand.
