Each is light and airy, with a large veranda. They are furnished in a simple, traditional style, with kikoi, mkeka mats on the floor, and two cushioned hammocks on the veranda for sietsa afternoon naps. The floors of the room are covered in weaved makuti mats and the walls are made with solid thick bamboo. The use of natural materials helps the room to stay cool throughout the day.

There are also four spacious and airy suites, located above the canopy high on the hill, with sweeping views of the crescent bay and the jade waters of the Indian Ocean. The suites combine local materials with contemporary African design which remains ecofriendly in its casual luxury. Verandas come with a private plunge pool. There is also a family suite with two-bedrooms, a shared living area and stunning sea views.
